What It Feels Like To Be Human

To know one’s self without an external source is the greatest of all feelings humans can ever experience. It starts from the way you think.

It is difficult to beat your thoughts because your brain has evolved to get used to them. Any man that has mastered his thoughts can grasp the true nature of reality.

“The brain had only evolved to seeing the things it has been used to, not necessarily the true nature of reality.” _Godfrey Jeremiah

Can we be smarter than our thoughts?

What constitutes your thoughts are the things your mind has grown to accustom. The first time you opened your eyes, all you could see is a world of information. Everything is information.

How correct is the information you can see?

You are either informed or misinformed. And when you are misinformed, you are deformed.

“If you don’t read the newspaper, you are uninformed; if you do read the newspaper, you are misinformed.” _Denzel Washington

It is difficult for us to know the exact nature of reality due to the education our experiences have been subjected to.

Everything you think you know maybe a lie. The truth is difficult to understand because it is different from who we are. Humans, most of us live in a fantasized or imagined world. We ceaselessly desire something and want to get it at all costs.

Humans are a creature of needs and desires. Our thoughts are mostly driven by desires we want to gratify. It is the norm to always want something because that is how we are wired.

For example, Have you ever been in dire need of something? Then you eventually get it but suddenly feel empty with it. You begin to search for something else with the hope of filling that emptiness.

“Humans are wired to acquire what they desire and require”

Desires without control and patience end in insanity. We begin to see the dark sides of humans as a result. Envy, jealousy, robbery, witchcraft, betrayal, murder, and all kinds of unethical behaviors unimaginable.

Sometimes, or oftentimes, we dreamed to be like someone else because we admire their status and achievements. We have placed certain people in our lives as a yardstick to measure our success.

I see this as an act to promote evil and self-destruction. The first time someone did this, evil was born — from the Adamic story in Genesis. The first humans wanted to be like their creator so they opted to do the forbidden. Hence, evil became a pattern in this world.

The desire to be like others and to get what they have complicates humanity. Unfortunately, this is the norm in most societies. It is a problem!

The essence of being humans goes beyond our desires and rationality. It lies within our natural framework supernaturally. We are an extension of ‘something’ supernatural in a natural world.

Our purpose is to consistently be in search for knowledge of ‘it’ and aid in ‘its’ ultimate plan for our existence.

I am convinced beyond doubts that we are featured in this universe for a common purpose — to aid in a divine plan. We are an act of creation embedded in ultimate reality, not only to experience creationism but to continue in the art of it.

So much is left undone, deliberately for us to finish. Between the day you took in your first breath and the day you’d give up your last, it’s your appointment period to complete this task. You certainly have a segment of this task, so do I.
